What we think and say creates life or death

In the previous post we looked at Proverbs 18:21. I believe that all of the Proverbs are important and offer valid and useful instruction. Proverbs 18:21 teaches a fundamental principle that is essential to living a successful life in Christ. Proverbs 18:21 (Amplified Bible), Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]. What we think, write and say literally (no pun intended) has the power to promote life or death into us and into those to whom we speak. James also references the power that is in our tongues.
